Description:
Under general supervision, position performs duties related to the disassembly, repair, and assembly of Wind Turbine Gearbox technology in the greater than 1 MW class range (2-4 different gearbox technologies).

Responsibilities:
Majority of time is spent performing semi-skilled diversified light and heavy assembly of mechanical parts and components for several specific wind turbine gearbox technology units; using a variety of light and heavy hand and power tools, solvents, paints and metalworking equipment; assisting in running the single technology, assembled gearbox unit on the test stand; working from simple drawings or blueprints or sketches. Job may include other misc duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High School/GED required. 0-2 years relevant duties experience and relevant supervisory experience required, if applicable.
